Zoning Sanatoga Village has historically served as a commercial and residential center of Lower Pottsgrove Township, one of the fastest growing municipalities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Recently, the village has been undergoing an accelerated change from a predominately residential area to more commercial and office uses. This trend led to the creation of the Sanatoga Village District, a district designed to retain the historic character of the area while providing an area of growth and opportunities for businesses. As such, in 1996, the Lower Pottsgrove Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance implementing many of the zoning provisions recommended by the Sanatoga Village District planning commission. |
The zoning provisions are summarized in the township’s zoning ordinances. Two of the more important provisions are included here. Limited Commercial and Office District
Part 26 of the Lower Pottsgrove Zoning Ordinance This provision provides information about the appropriate use and development of commercial and office space. Regulations, dimensional, building, lot line, access, parking, landscaping, refuse areas, lighting, and integration standards are included.
